What We Offer
Boarding
Barking Mad boarding offers the option of indoor suites or indoor/outdoor suites, whichever your dog prefers. All suites have central heat and air, fleece blankets, comfy beds, automated water systems and soothing music is played throughout the night. Multi-dog families may stay together in the same suite to ease their transition. Every boarding guest has full daycare privileges. In addition, our they are also given three walks a day and two meal times. Don't forget we have staff onsite 24/7.
Daycare
Barking Mad offers two options for daycare. Our human friends may leave their pooch for a full day (M-F: 7am-7pm, S-S: 8am-5pm) or a half day (any 5 hour span within business hours). Either option gives dogs the opportunity to play in our indoor and outdoor yards, access to comfy cots, a variety of toys, automated water systems and quiet-room time so they can take a break from play. Dogs that stay for a full day also get one private walk with a staff member and have access to our indoor and outdoor pools.
Extras
Barking Mad also offers extra services such as a bath & ear cleaning package or a nail trim & anal gland expression package. We will also travel with your pooch to see your local vet if needed, visit the local dog park or hike & bike trail, or any of their other favorite Austin spots. And if you need to pick-up or drop-off outside of our normal business hours, we can arrange a special time by appointment.
Indoor Suites
Barking Mad offers indoor suites with glass walls for dogs to socialize and privacy shields when they want some alone time. And multi-dog families may stay together in the same suite to ease their transition. All suites have natural light during the day and dim lighting at night. All suites have central heat and air, fleece blankets, comfy beds, automated water systems and soothing music is played throughout the night. Our suites are spacious and comfortable, making their time with us more enjoyable.
Indoor/Outdoor Suites
Our indoor/outdoor suites are ideal for extra-large breeds or dogs that are used to being outside more often. The suites are provided with central heat and air, fleece blankets, comfy beds, automated water systems and soothing music is played throughout the night.
Play Yards
Barking Mad offers two outdoor play yards, one for smaller breeds and one for larger breeds. Both yards offer automated water systems, plenty of shade, comfy cots to rest on and a variety of toys. Our indoor play yard provides play space on bad weather days and for dogs that may prefer taking it easier. We also provide our guests with quiet-room time so they can get some one-on-one attention or just take a little rest.
Swim Time
For our water-loving guests we provide two pool options: one indoor, heated pool and one large outdoor pool. Any owner who thinks their pooch may enjoy some pool time, just let us know and we will make it happen at no extra charge. All dogs are given a swim test before being let into the full swim group and every swim session is staffed by two lifeguards who are also trained in canine CPR.
